Pivot Doors
Pivot doors rest on a floor-mounted hinge that allows for a 180-degree rotation to open inward or outward. They are sleeker than framed doors but require a bit more room to maneuver, especially if your bathroom is tight on space.
Heavy Glass Shower Doors
Heavy glass shower doors feel more substantial in your hand and are easier to clean since there are fewer places for soap scum or buildup to hide. However, they require more sturdy mounting than framed or semi-frameless doors and are more expensive.
Tempered Glass
Heat strengthened for safety, tempered glass is approximately four times stronger than standard glass and can withstand the impact of an accidental bump or drop. In the rare event that tempered glass does break, it fractures into small particles instead of sharp shards which significantly reduces the risk of injury.
