Ai Games are games that include artificial intelligence in some way. Whether that be the game AI interacting with the player or the game world itself, AI in video games enhances the gaming experience and makes it feel more alive.

This can be a simple function, for instance if an NPC notices that they are low on health it may find a nearby cover object to hide behind until they have reloaded. Or it could be a more complex function, for example if an NPC notices that they have run out of ammunition then it will try to find a nearby reload station.
Generative AI allows games to generate new content while players are playing. These can range from short AI generated video clips to whole new games that are created by ai. While these generative games are often simplistic and don’t fully demonstrate what ai can do, they can still be fun to play.
